ENGLISH PROFILIST, EARLY 19TH C EIGHT SILHOUETTES OF LADIES AND GENTLEMEN OF THE READ, CREED AND VINCENT FAMILIES cut paper, together mounted, inscribed with the sitter's names, several dates and three watercolour shields of arms, 35 x 25cm, two silhouettes of ladies called Miss A Birch and Miss Ryves September 1783, painted on paper together framed and the silhouette of two children, 1980 in Regency style frame (3)Of the first item, seven of the eight sitters can be identified as Major Henry Creed (1732-1786) of the 33rd Regiment and his wife Hannah Creed, nee Read (b1747), their sons George Vincent (1753-1832) and ExhamVincent (1763-1818), George's wife Elizabeth Vincent, nee Read (1766-1837) whom he married at Leeds on May 26th 1784, their son George Vincent (1788-1862) and her mother Hannah Read, nee Buxton (1711-1783).
