AN INTERESTING PEARLWARE JUG AND TWO CONTEMPORARY PEARLWARE JUGS, C1820 the largest painted with armorials and puce mantling framing the name Robert Reynolds, the reverse with a flower spray, the front gilt with the initials HR, the other jugs painted with flower sprays, one also in brown with the initials WL, 12.5-19.5cm hProvenance: The arms on the first jug are those of Reynolds impaling arms ascribed to families call Palmer and may relate to the marriage of Robert Reynolds of the Middle Temple and Hannah Palmer of Bermondsey who married at St Mary Magdalen, Bermondsey on 10 January 1758.
