A VICTORIAN SILVER LIDDED BALUSTER JUG engraved with festoons, 25cm h, by Henry Holland & Son, London 1877, 16ozs 15dwtsThe engraved inscription reads: Presented To The Honble Evelyn Palk on her marriage by the servants and employe's [sic] of Haldon 1882.The Hon Evelyn Elizabeth Palk (1856-1935) married on 26 April 1882 Major Ernest Gambier-Parry, OBE. She was the daughter of Lawrence Palk, 1st Baron Haldon (1818-1883) of Haldon House near Exeter.
