[GERMANY AND KAISER WILHELM II] - A LATE 19TH CENTURY ALBUM OF 134 ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHS FROM A TOUR TO GERMANY including images of the Kaiser and Kaiserin arriving in Berlin to attend the 'Fahnenweihe' ceremony, followed by a prince and princess with attendants, officers and military. In addition to views, buildings, monuments etc. there are some excellent street scenes, capturing day-to-day life, the photographs with ink captions written below in English, bound in a contemporary oblong cloth album. Apparently, judging by the shadow of the photographer seen in several images, the photographs were taken by a Victorian lady (1)
