Auction Insights with Nigel Kirk

‘It must be so interesting’, voiced with a hint of envy is the usual response when people learn what I ‘do’. Two reasons why stand out. Auctions are an endlessly interesting merry-go-round of art and antiques by which knowledge – I dislike the over-used ‘expertise’ – is both informed and broadened but also the excitement that comes from objects that are a tangible manifestation of history. I hope you enjoy these weekly blogs.
